1. Job Title: Pipeline Engineer

Location: Lagos
Reporting to: Installation Engineer Senior – Pipeline Group
Working Hours:  40 hours per week

Description of Role

  • The installation project engineering – Pipeline Group role incorporates the full installation process from the procedure preparation and/or installation analyses up to the following of offshore operation.
  • She/he is responsible for delivering fit for purpose rigid pipeline installation engineering on projects or tenders with specific focus on safe and cost effective installation operations.
  • She/he is reporting to the installation engineer Senior/Lead – Pipeline Group.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities
Overall Responsibilities:

  • Performs detailed feasibility studies and installation procedure and/or installation analyses, under the supervision of a Senior/lead engineer, considering all associated risk and ensure that all safety rules are considered for various operations such as pipe laying, riser installation, pipeline structure in line installation.
  • Determines and optimises operations installation times for S-lay.
  • Ensure the quality of its analyses, and the respect of the planning
  • Interfaces with associated subsea related disciplines and understands the interfaces within a project environment.
  • Provides engineering support during operations with occasional periods offshore or on yard,
  • Ensures all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed
  • Participates actively to the PG department know-how consolidation,
  • Proposes innovative solutions allowing cost & risks reduction

Personal Specification

  • Graduate from Civil Engineering , Mechanical Engineering or Marine Technology University
  • IT Mandatory skills Microsoft office (Excel , word , powerpoint)
  • Experience with one or more following software or similar will be required:
    • Mathcad,
    • Orcaflex
    • Macro VBA
    • Autocad
    • Abaqus
  • 2 to 5 years of Experience is required, in Oil & Gas industry will be appreciated.
  • Experience in Pipeline design, installation calculations and or Methods will be appreciated.
  • Offshore experience, especially in pipelay vessel will be appreciated.
  • Candidate highly motivated, appreciating team work and challenging project , with the wish to built is carrier withinb Subsea 7.
  • Ability to manage and lead engineer onto project and tenders.
  • Experience on project and tender will be apprieated.

2. Job Title: Lead Installation Engineer – Africa

  • Within the framework of our Projects/Tenders in the Africa region, we are looking for an experienced Lead Installation Engineer to join our Installation Department within the Africa Engineering Management Department.
  • You will be in charge of the installation of subsea structures in shallow and deep waters, mooring systems, risers systems, flexible flowlines and umbilicals.
  • You will prepare the missions and then support the offshore people during the operations.
  • Your interface will be at the heart of the project and you will ensure the liaison between the client, the suppliers, the operational people and the design teams.


  • Manage a team of engineers within projects/tenders,
  • Accountable for the engineering budget and planning of the scope of the engineer’s team,
  • Manage all external interfaces (clients, subcontractors, suppliers) and internal interfaces (other disciplines, installation, fabrication, purchasing, operation),
  • Supervise the engineering activities in connection with the preparation and installation of the products,
  • Validate the production of all documents and preliminary studies linked to tenders and projects developed by the installation teams,
  • Plan, prepare and confirm the specific procedures (validation test on site, transportation and installation) and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings, design installation aids) defining priorities,

  • Ability to manage interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines, drawing office, document control, project management, client and suppliers.

3.Job Title: Senior Accountant

  • The Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager. He/she is vested with the responsibility to assist the Manager/Department in the discharge of his day to day tasks.
  • This role shall be executed within the utmost respect of Company’s procedures, Code of Business Conduct and Core Values.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities

  • Liaises with banks on all operational banking matters
  • Oversee cash and bank transactions and ensure such records are maintained in an accurate and timely manner
  • Check monthly bank reconciliations and investigates reconciling items
  • Day to day control over the company cheque books, cash balances and banking requirements
  • Ensures all payments are properly approved and supported by appropriate documentary evidence


  • Support the maintenance of accounting records in compliance with local and group regulations in an efficient and effective manner

4.Job Title: Estimating Engineer

Reporting to: Nigeria Tendering Manager

Description of Function

  • Reporting to the Nigeria Tendering Manager, the Estimating Engineer will be based in Lagos office and will be in charge of establishing cost estimates in accordance with ITT requirements, technical constraints and commercial aspects. He or she is also responsible for developing and updating tools and cost databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build up cost estimates of Commercial Proposals respecting internal rules and procedures.
  • Develop the execution plan with the Tender Lead and Commercial Lead for the purpose of having a complete, accurate and optimized cost estimate.
  • Perform cost simulation to evaluate the execution alternatives that will allow the Tender lead to select the most cost effective solution
  • Take into account deliverables issued by all the departments involved in tenders and clarify where necessary. Also provide information upfront as may be required by these departments for establishing their deliverables, in close collaboration with the Tender Lead and the Commercial Lead.
  • Do the cash flow analysis in order to obtain favorable payment conditions in the contract.
  • Prepare the commercial deliverables for our proposal, especially the price schedule, unit rates and commercial qualifications.
  • Implement cost impacts during the contract clarification and negotiation phase.
  • Handover to the project in case of contract award.
  • Contribute to the development of estimating tools and benchmarks.
  • Support Tendering Department in other relevant functions/deliverables as required.

Profile – Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Behaviours

  • Maximum 5 years technical experience in engineering, fabrication or operations with strong background / experience in cost estimation and control.
  • Good understanding of Oil & Gas Subsea products and activities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
  • Produces work of high quality and accuracy
  • Flexibility to work within the demands of the role.
  • Good organisational skills and smart working methods.
  • Proactive and curious. Ability to take an overall view and critical mind
